Everyone can learn how to draw!!

Join Rachel Rodi, mosaic artist and art instructor in this introductory drawing course for beginners or those who want to brush up on their drawing. Students will learn in a positive and supportive environment to draw realistically and to translate their mosaic designs, imaginative drawing and abstract drawing.

Topics covered are use of line and angles, negative and positive space, contour, perspective, creating depth, and enlarging drawings to-scale by hand. Class will also cover basic design concepts such as overall page composition, focal point, and scale.

Students will be given hand outs with design and drawing exercise samples.

No art or mosaic experience needed!

Materials List:
Sketch Pad: 14" x 17" 60 lb, minimum 50 pages
3 Drawing Pencils: 2H, HB and 2B
Eraser: Kneaded Eraser or White Rubber Eraser
Pencil Bag/Pencil Case as an optional supply item

These things can be found at any art supply store, including Michaels.
