Back by popular demand, IMA presents "Grout Clinic" for mosaic artists and students who have made works on their own and need some assistance with grouting. We have found that for some people grouting can be the intimidating part of completing a mosaic project and we would like to offer individual advice and guidance for grouting completed projects through these clinics.

Students are welcome to bring in their completed, but ungrouted works and participate in a lecture / demonstration about properties of grout, grout color selection to enhance a piece of mosaic artwork and how to apply and clean off grout for a professional looking finish. Lecture will also include information on grout sealers.

Students will grout their own work with guidance from instructor.

Students can bring multiple pieces to grout if they can multi task and complete all, including buffing in the time frame of the clinic.

Students must provide their own grout; Mosaic Studio Supply, our in house retail store, has 25 colors to choose from. IMA will provide instruction and grouting supplies including: buckets, sponges, paper towels, mixing tools and latex gloves.

Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Grout clinic coincides with session three (grouting day) of Mosaic 101 Wednesday class.
