Each week Tracy will present a different method for sculpting in concrete for students to experiment with. Students will learn to mix, pour and cast concrete. Students will also learn to add relief designs and use sand and molds to cast concrete. Fiberglass mesh and Styrofoam will be used to lighten sculptures and armatures to strengthen them. Toward the end of the session, the instructor will work with each student to formulate and determine the best method to use to implement an individual project, to be completed in class.
