Introduction to Glass Mosaics

A great introduction to glass mosaics!
Students will design and create their own fine art mosaic piece. Class will focus on designing for glass mosaics, introduction to different types of glass tesserae, surfaces suitable for glass mosaic, glass tools, cutting and shaping techniques, lay patterns, fixatives for glass and appropriate applications.
Students will design and create a 11" x 11" glass mosaic for interior display. No experience necessary, beginning and returning students welcome.
