A perfect introduction to ceramic tile mosaics for interior use. Mosaic 101 is a great building block for students who want to study mosaics over a period of time, are interested in doing larger projects in the future, or just want to experiment with the mosaic medium. This is a very complete class that covers mosaic design, terminology and resources, types of materials available out there in the mosaic world, substrates, fixatives, tools and their use, setting, grouting, sealing and finishing. Students will receive handouts covering glossary of terms, resources, tools & materials, and grouting.

Students will make a 11" x 11" wall piece to take home. No art or mosaic experience necessary!
