This is a multi-level, extended mosaic study course in which students will design and create
a beautiful, functional mosaic tabletop. Class will include lecture and demonstration on design for
mosaic furniture, appropriate substrates, fixatives, tool use, cutting and setting techniques, grouting and finishing.
This course is designed for the beginning or continuing mosaic student. Instructor will work with each student to help him or her develop a design suited to each student's individual skill/ experience level. Students should bring in their own table top for either interior or exterior use.
Some homework may be involved, depending on complexity of design.
