Can't get away right now? Travel the world with Cruise Director/Instructor Laurel True and discover some of the wonders of mosaic sites and mosaics around the world- off the beaten path of course.

Class will begin with an introduction of each geographical area where featured mosaics and sites are locate, creating a context for a digital presentation of fabulous multi- cultural mosaics that will delight and is sure to leave students truly inspired.

Mosaics are to be found around the globe in nooks and crannies, in shrines and temples, on the street, in public buildings in small villages and in urban centers. Each week we will "travel" (in our chairs) to different destinations. Class will include a discussion of materials and techniques and styles used and how they relate to specific geography and cultures.
