On this Independence Day, treat yourself to some visionary fireworks! Tune into your mind's eye as a rich source for visionary inspiration.

In this workshop you will:
• Gain insight into your personal iconography
• Boost your creativity by centering the breath
• Find more flow and joy in your work

Using mosaic-making as the pathway and working within the framework of "the sacred circle" Lillian Sizemore will instruct students in theories of mandalas, crop circles, labyrinths, sacred geometry, and other "circular" resources for tapping the inner creative flow. Students will create their own 18" diameter mosaic mandala piece during the session. Using visuals, lectures, readings, meditation and group discussion, along with plenty of one-on-one guidance, you will build up a solid technical foundation while exploring your secret inner biography.

The retreat is a great chance to give yourself a total immersion experience and focus on your art in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. There will be a lunch break each day and students may wish to bring their lunch or purchase from nearby cafes.

A list of supplies to bring will be sent upon registration. An optional closing luncheon will be held on Wednesday, 4th of July, to celebrate the week of inspiration and friendship. There is a $10 fee, payable to the instructor, for those who would like to join in the luncheon celebration.

Testimonials from former students
"The nurturing of the creative process and the tools to "stir the pot" made this an enormously satisfying experience for me. This is one of the very few times that I have created something I love. I don't know if this is an art form whose time has come for me, or the fact that I'm still new at it so it's all exciting and stimulating, or if your class and where I am in my life came together at the perfect time. The fact is, it all came together in your class."— R.C. Foster City, CA

"Your class is way beyond my wildest expectations - so much is "bubbling up" regarding the mandala and just life in general. I can't quite pinpoint what magic you're brewing." —J.A Berkeley, CA

"It was the first time I really used art as an expression of something within-- and not just to make something pretty. It was exciting! The connections with the other women in the group were very important. I really liked being able to sit and share our experiences with each other and express how the art itself weaved its way through our lives. —L.N. Berkeley, CA

"I enjoyed the meditation exercises, the exposure to some great reading and your feedback and expertise on our mosaic pieces was greatly appreciated. Learning about tools and exercises to tap into my creativity gave me a space to be less critical of myself." — N.C. Santa Clara, CA
