2012 is here and we're thrilled to host an amazing list of Visiting Artists in the new year! Fresh to IMA will be Martin Cheek February 18 - 19 with his pre-made bespoke fusions to incorporate into your animated mosaic design. New classes scheduled with Laurel True, Margo Anton and Michael Kruzich and with an expanse of knowledge from Sonia King, Carol Shelkin, Laurie Mika, Jeannie Houston Antes, Ellen Blakeley, Kelley Knickerbocker, and Brent Sumner there is sure to be a class perfect for you!

SCHOLARSHIPS
|
IMA is excited to offer the Anne Spindler Memorial Scholarship created by a generous donor. This is a wonderful opportunity for a Bay Area local to experience the fantastic world of mosaics. This year the memorial fund will be offering Five $100 Scholarships to Bay Area locals for classes at IMA.
Interested applicants meeting the following qualifications should submit their application to info@instituteofmosaicart.com
- Aged 16 or over residing in Bay Area
- Never taken a class at IMA
- Able to express a financial need
- Submit minimum 250 word statement describing financial need and why you want to learn mosaics
Deadline for scholarship submission January 31, 2012. Scholarship applied directly to a class at IMA, excludes visiting artist classes and store purchases, no cash value.

Spring is the time for rebirth, regrowth, rejuvenation, re-younameit. It's when flowers bloom and the bees do their thing. IMA is inviting you to freely create a mosaic that is truly of your own theme. Opening April 6, Freedom to Create will be an opportunity for you to produce whatever it is you want to make. Whether it's a one-of-a-kind piece that you dreamt of last night or the ultimate mosaic you've always wanted to charge after. All we ask is that you let your creativity blossom.
