We are gearing up for another great year at IMA! We have already begun our summer programming. This year we are looking forward to welcoming back some of our favorite visiting artists. Among the returning favorites are Sherri Warner Hunter, Brent Sumner, Sonia King and Laurel Skye. Also look out for some new and interesting classes as well as great week-long intensives.

Students with previous mosaic experience are welcome and encouraged to come to our open lab time at IMA. Although there is no instruction in IMA labs, there is a Lab Monitor on hand to direct lab participants to the tools and supplies they need.

Weekly drop in Lab:
Wednesdays 6: 30 - 9: 30p.m. and
Thursday and Friday 10a.m. - 1p.m.

Fortuna— Exploring the Role of Fortune in Our Lives

January 9th - March 2nd, 2008
Group exhibition curated by Tracy Broback. Mosaics in glass, ceramic and mixed media.

Sherri Warner Hunter: Fragments

April 18th - June 1st
Mixed media constructions in mosaic, concrete, wood, and found materials. Hunter's new constructions utilize three dimensional forms as gestural mark-making references. Sculptural forms are combined to create abstract pictographs and metaphors using mosaic forms, wood and concrete elements, found objects and materials. Come and enjoy this rare opportunity to see Hunter's magical creations.
