Sunny day at IMA!
It is getting consistently sunny out and we are definitely moving into warm weather here in the Bay Area! Our outdoor classes are going strong and we are looking forward to more warm weather mosaics!

As the garden comes back to life out back, we are also beginning to get back out into the neighborhood to continue our mosaic magic on the buildings in the Jingletown Arts District!

Santiago has just returned from a wonderful mosaic adventure to Rome, Italy and the Vatican Mosaic Workshop and has lots to share!

The Vatican school was established with the goal of covering the interior of Saint Peter's with mosaics and is still operating today. The same school has coined the filati technique of micromosaics.
