We have started an ongoing mural project on the front of the Institute of Mosaic Art building! This new installation was started in Laurel True's Mosaic Mural Making Intensive class in late July. Since then, numerous staff, students and community volunteers have helped to add onto the fantastical scene. The next Mural Making Intensive with Laurel True will be October 2 - 8, 2006.

Mosaic Summer Camp student Deb Kroeger from Iowa

We had two great sessions of Mosaic Summer Camp this summer. Students traveled from all over the country to spend a week at IMA making mosaics, going on field trips and enjoying slide and video presentations. We had lots of fun! Next summer's sessions will fall on July 9 -13 and August 6-10, 2007.

IMA welcomed new instructor Madeline Behrens-Brigham to teach New Mosaics— Mixed Media Creations Madeline returns for another session Oct 7-8th.

Heads up! Isaiah Zagar is coming back!
Isaiah will lead students in the creation of a mural that will cover an entire building in Jingletown, across the street from IMA! Isaiah Zagar— Visionary Mosaic Mural Making on November 6 - 10th.
