Successful New Classes
Renegade Quilting, a wonderful class led by Madeline Behrens Brigham, was offered for the first time in September and was a resounding success! Students had a wonderful time making piecework quilts and commented on how the process was like "making mosaics...but with fabric!"

Our first weekend format class of Lightweight Concrete Sculpture was a blast for students, who used hotwire foam cutting tools and other hand tools to carve into Styrofoam and cover with concrete for amazing results.

Join instructor Tracy Broback for the next session on January 12- 13th, 2008.

Kim Larson's exquisite figurative work honors the feminine form as well as delights the eye. Using mixed glass media such as colored mirror, stained art glass and other reflective tesserae, Kim captures the musculature, gesture and movement of the human body, while retaining a playful and unique style.

Holiday Mosaic Exhibit & Jingletown Artists Exhibit

Join us for our Holiday Mosaic Exhibit an exhibit of affordable works of art by emerging and established mosaic artists. Two and three-dimensional fine art and functional works.

We will also feature a group exhibit of artists working in all media from the Jingletown Junction Neighborhood in Oakland, CA. In conjunction with Jingletown Holiday Art Walk December 1 - 2nd. In partnership with JABC— Jingletown Arts and Business Community.

Pecita Eyes Anniversary

Join Precita Eyes mural Center in San Francisco for their 30 Year Anniversary Gala. Works by 30 Bay Area master muralists will be auctioned, including work by IMA director Laurel True and IMA Visiting Artists Josef Norris and Lillian Sizemore.
